SMARTMon-UX has an internal database consisting of hundreds of vendor-unique fields specific to certain makes and models of peripherals. These are used to supplement the extensive list of ANSI-standard fields that the program queries and reports via command.

 

In order to determine the release number of smartmon-ux invoke the program with:

smartmon-ux -V

 

The response will be similar to:
