Each SANtool is licensed for use on a single host computer at a time. The user is free to plug the SANtool into as many computers as desired, as necessary. There are no restrictions on the single computer running the web browser, and nothing needs to be installed on any computer that needs to interact with the host computer running the embedded web server. (The SANtool does not currently support concurrent multiple browser sessions running on different machines).

Pop-and-Swap Pricing
For installations that require utmost data security, SANtools has a mechanism by which the SANtool can be programmatically erased on-site, then physically destroyed. Basically, you smash the SANtool in any way you see fit, then send us the pieces. We will replace the unit for $25 plus shipping / handling charges. The part of the USB stick that has the serial number on it must be legible. This pricing is specific to the 2GB SANtool which uses a relatively easy-to-break plastic case. (A few whacks with a hammer will do it). The larger-capacity sticks have durable metallic cases, have 5-year warranties, and are quite frankly too difficult to destroy.
